DAWNS

Piece for Voice and Loops, Clarinet, Violin, Percussion, Piano and Fixed Media

Dawns is intended as a moment of connection where a group of musicians brings a musical encounter on a stage, in front of an audience and after a long time of isolation; celebrating the beginning of a new path through a ritual moment of human and musical interaction.

Result of the Artistic Residency Prospettive Sonore, produced by Associazione Progetto Musica with the support of SIAE and the Italian Ministry of Culture.

HWYL

Piece for saxophone quartet and marimba

Hwyl is a wide-meaning Welsh word that Tiffany Watt Smith describes as "the word for a boat sail [...] that means exuberance or excitement, as if clipping along on a guest of wind". Hwyl can also be used to say goodbye (Hwyl fawr - go with the wind in your sails).

VEIL

Audio Visual work

Veil – an audiovisual work by Claudio Bellini and Michele Deiana – originates from the idea of connection, which we all feel strongly these days: we are connected to others by virtual networks where we are the nodes and our relationships are the links. A virtual mesh, where vertices are the fundamental elements, is used as a similitude to evoke a network of relations.
